About the Author
I am a mother of six, including an adopted daughter with disabilities, and a full-time caregiver navigating the daily realities of medical complexity, motherhood, and faith. Through Living Loflin, I share our family’s story—inviting others into the beauty, grief, growth, and grace found in ordinary days.
My writing and storytelling reach a growing community through social media, long-form video, and faith-centered resources, where I focus on motherhood, foster care, adoption, disability parenting, and finding balance in the midst of it all.
Bringing Home Hope tells the story of welcoming our daughter (Hope) home through foster care and adoption—and learning to parent profound disability along the way. It is a story of love that costs more than expected, faith stretched thin, and hope that grows roots in hard soil.
This book is written for parents navigating foster care and adoption, families raising children with disabilities, and anyone learning how to trust God when the life they’re given looks different than the one they prayed for.
It is honest, tender, and rooted in the belief that God is present—even when the answers don’t come quickly.
The manuscript is currently outlined and in active development.
I am seeking traditional Christian publication.
